"Tom Pilutik is excellent as Mark...the guy who want's his cake and, well...you get the idea."  - ReviewPlays.com

"Pilutik’s performance is both age- and character-appropriate. He makes Mark, an actor, seem rational, moderately narcissistic, and possessive of a healthy sexual appetite, rather than merely a hedonistic cad. This makes it harder to hate him..." -Offoffonline.com

With great tenacity, Tom(Thomas J.) Pilutik has been on the acting scene for the past 10 years. Starting his acting pursuits at C.W. Post College on Long Island, Tom quickly became a staple of the Post Theater Company, and worked hard at finding himself as an actor, performing as Athonio in Shakespeare's The Tempest, Churchill's The Skriker, and as Sterling in Paul Rudnick's Jeffrey to name a few. Tom was also one of the few actors from Post that crossed the boundary from theater to film so early on, and quickly made contacts with film directors and gaining on-camera experience. Tom received the award for Outstanding Service to the Post Theater Company upon his transition to the professional acting world.

Since his departure from C.W. Post, Tom has consistently worked with reputable film companies, such as Kings and Desperate Men Productions, (www.kadm.com) Swirly Angel Productions and Exquisite Beast Productions (www.exquisitebeast.com). Tom has also worked with the always groundbreaking Prototype Theater (www.proto-type.org) earning him praise from critics and audiences alike.

Tom's expertise is not limited to the area of film and theater. He is also a graduate from New York University's Drama Therapy Program, earning him a Masters Degree in this field. Tom is a licensed creative arts therapist and has worked in acute care psychiatric populations for 4 years. This work was an incredible growth experience for Tom, both personally and professionally.

Despite managing a career as a therapist, Tom has been able to balance in stage and film work. Once again a full time actor, Tom continues to be busy, recently starring in the NYC Fringe Festival's An American Gospel and in the comedy/horror film Post Mortem. Tom has gained much popularity while starring in the outrageous Off-Broadway comedy hit Angry Young Women in Low Rise Jeans with High Class Issues (www.angryyoungwomen.net) which played at both the Theater for the New City and The Players Theater in New York City, and, most recently at the Hudson Mainstage in Hollywood, California. Keep an eye out for Tom in the new play Stay Over at the Lounge in Hollywood, California. (www.kadm.com)
